Product Introduction
Type of piston ring:
Compression ring: The compression ring is located in the groove at the top of the piston, used to seal the combustion chamber and prevent compressed gas from leaking onto the cylinder wall. It can withstand high temperatures and pressures, and has good elasticity and wear resistance.
Oil control ring: The oil control ring is used to control the oil film between the piston and cylinder to reduce the amount of oil film entering the combustion chamber, while ensuring an appropriate amount of lubricating oil to lubricate the piston and cylinder wall. It is usually composed of two or three separate rings and has excellent sealing and lubrication performance.
Explosion ring: The explosion ring is located at the bottom of the piston ring group to enhance the sealing performance and stability of the piston ring. It can prevent high-temperature and high-pressure gas from leaking to the bottom of the piston, and improve combustion efficiency and emission control.

Proper lubrication and cleaning: Before installing the piston ring, be sure to apply an appropriate amount of lubricating oil to the piston ring groove. This helps to reduce friction and wear, and provides a good sealing effect. At the same time, avoid excessive lubricating oil entering the piston ring to avoid affecting normal movement and sealing performance.
The piston ring also has the function of guiding the piston to move on the cylinder wall, ensuring the stability and accuracy of the piston. Through close contact with the cylinder wall, the piston ring limits the axial and radial displacement of the piston, preventing it from deviating from its normal motion trajector
Clean the piston groove:
Use tools such as a scraper to clean carbon deposits and dirt from the piston groove.
Gently grind the surface of the piston groove with sandpaper or a grinding tool to ensure a smooth surface.
Install new piston rings:
Before installation, ensure that the new piston ring matches the piston and carefully check its condition.
Use piston ring pliers to carefully place the piston ring into the piston groove, ensuring that the opening of the ring is correctly aligned.
Lubrication and assembly:
Apply a small layer of lubricating oil between the piston ring and piston groove to reduce friction and promote sealing effect.
Reinstall the piston onto the connecting rod and connect other engine components in the correct order.
